This book has been written keeping in mind the background and understanding of B.Pharm and Pharm.D students of Indian Universities. As the subject matter is yet to be practiced in any large scale in Indian hospitals, theoretical aspects of the subject is written in a simple manner, so as the budding pharmacists can understand the basics of the subject and build upon it when they actually enter into the practice of hospital and clinical pharmacy.
