This book contains poems surrounding human emotions. The author aims to explain these emotions using words that are raw and will tug at your heartstrings. These are emotions that we all feel but cannot find the vocabulary to express them. These emotions that one chooses to not share with the others. When the author first encountered grief, she realized how much of a tabooed subject it was and immersed herself in capturing all that she was feeling and pouring them out in the form of words. Grief also allowed her to feel all of the other human emotions with a lot more intensity that she hadn't known she could.
