Fifty Years of Bangladesh Parliament

Fifty years after its birth, the Bangladesh Parliament's contribution to the country's constitutional separation of powers and checks and balances among the executive, legislative and judicial branches remains underwhelming. Its relation with its electorate stands tainted and the prospect of reform oblique.
