Writing History in Ottoman Europe (Fifteenth - Eighteenth Centuries)

The various forms of history writing of Early Modern Ottoman Europe were never the object of a comprehensive or comparative approach. The aim of the present volume is to fill in this major gap. Leading specialists in the field, many of them being Brill authors, have joined forces in an attempt to reflect the diversity of history writing in the Ottoman Empire, in its European part. We strongly this could be a turning point in the field of Ottoman and South-East European studies.
