Mystik im Johannesevangelium: Eine hermeneutische Untersuchung aufgrund der Auseinandersetzung mit Zen-Meister Hisamatsu Shin'ichi

This volume seeks to radicalize the tradition of Negative Theology and define mysticism as the realization of non-duality . Interpreting the modern Japanese Zen-master Hisamatsu Shin'ichio, the text finds a point of comparison to test the Gospel of John for mysticism. This comparison is based on texts from John 13-16, their philological analysis and historical interpretations, but takes place in the hermeneutical reflections, confronting systematically Hisamatsu’s description of the process to great Awakening with the Johannine path to the eschatological event of Easter-Pentecost.
