In October 1985, in the New Talents show at Milan Fashion Week, the world caught its first glimpse of Dolce&Gabbana-and a legend was born. The first is dedicated to Steven Meisel, whose advertising campaigns came to define Dolce&Gabbana's imagery. The preeminent genius of fashion photography contributed forty new pictures to this special edition, which also presents a selection of his most iconic shots for the brand. The second volume, with texts by Luke Leitch, unearths a treasure trove never-before-seen outside the fashion house's atelier: mood boards for each of the eighty womenswear collections released between 1985 and 2025. Together they form a mosaic that offers an unparalleled overview of Dolce&Gabbana's inspiration and virtuosic career.
