Florentine Humanistic Manuscripts

The present volume lists about 2,400 manuscripts written in humanistic scripts, most of which were identified by Albinia C. de la Mare, with the aim of making more accessible the enormous contribution on Florentine humanistic scribes offered by the English scholar in 1985. The list is sorted by shelfmarks, and the authors and scribes have their own indexes. The opportunity has also been taken to correct a few slips and to incorporate new information.
