Juan de Timoneda (1490?-1583). Espana. Nacio en Valencia, fue zurrador de pieles, impresor y librero. Es conocido como autor de farsas, dramas, comedias y entremeses, por lo cual es considerado un antecedente de Lope de Vega. Su Ternario sacramental reune seis autos sacramentales, y su obra escenica profana forma una coleccion titulada la Turiana. Escribio poemas, y publico Rosa de romances, Sobremesa y alivio de caminantes y el conjunto de novelas El patranuelo.
