Gonzalo de Berceo (Berceo, Logrono, 1195-d. 1264). Espana. Pertenece a la tradicion literaria llamada mester de clerecia, integrada por eclesiasticos y hombres de letras. Se educo en el monasterio de San Millan de la Cogolla (La Rioja), en el que oficio como clerigo secular, y fue mas tarde diacono (c. 1120) y presbitero (c. 1237).
