Tras sufrir un desafortunado percance, Lena vaga por las calles de una ciudad enorme y desconocida en el otro extremo del mundo -Buenos Aires-, mientras se pregunta en que momento esa escapada le parecio una buena idea.

Necesitaba alejarse de Madrid por un tiempo, no imagino que se encontraria en la situacion en que ahora se encuentra, sin dinero y sin saber que hacer. Cansada, asustada y hambrienta, Lena baraja la posibilidad de darse por vencida y regresar.

Cuando esta a punto de rendirse, un delicioso aroma la conduce hacia un pintoresco cafe de barrio, atendido por un joven bastante impertinente que, al igual que todo en aquel lugar, resulta ser mucho mas de lo que aparenta.

Corazones en el cafe es una novela plena de humor y emociones, que se lee con deleite y que, como el mejor cafe, deja un muy buen sabor de boca.

A different type of love story, and one that is hard to forget.

After suffering an unfortunate mishap, Lena roams the streets of a huge and strange city on the other side of the world -Buenos Aires-, as she wonders when that trip had ever seemed like a good idea. Maybe it was after the video of her fiance frolicking with the stripper from his bachelor party. Or maybe it was after the last argument with her mother after telling her that she had cancelled the wedding.

She needed to get away from Madrid for a while, but could have never imagined that she would find herself in the situation in which she is now, broke and hopeless. Tired, scared, and hungry, Lena considers giving up and going back home. When she is about to give up, a delicious aroma leads her to a quaint neighborhood cafe run by a rather insolent young man who, like everything else in that place, turns out to be much more than what he seems.

Praises from the jury: A wonderful love story, that has it all: passion, tenderness, humor, and colorful backdrop. The character, both protagonists and secondary, are charming and endearing. It is a novel full of romanticism and hard to forget.
