Pierre Angot, a sophisticated Parisian who doesnt even think about marriage, and Rachel Schwartz, a modest Jewish girl, have a relationship, leaving a daughter, Christine. The girl grows up with her mother, but her father, who has formed another family, will eventually contact his first daughter.
