Chronicling the adult lives of a pair of inseparable Argentinian twin brothers. Eduardo & Miguel introduces us to the everyday of the Portnoy brothers, two more than 50 year old twins that have never separated from each other. They live and work together, with no close friends or family: they only have each other. However, this unusual duplicity of their existence and the particular complementarity of their lives portrays universal concepts like the construction of identity, the care for one’s own vulnerability and the confrontation of solitude. This photobook depicts them both as cover and back cover of each other, working as a mirror to make them flow into one another in the book’s middle pages. Colo’s Project was the winner of the first edition of the Star Photobook Dummy Award, an iniciative promoted by the Photographic Foundation in collaboration with Spanish-based publishing houses Phree, Ediciones Posibles and RM, making its publication possible.
