The Mallorca Cat Cafe

Love, friendship, and feline fun on a sun-kissed Mediterranean island. Life seems idyllic for Laura Lundon. The presenter of a successful morning show on an English radio station shares an apartment in Mallorca's capital, Palma, with her photographer boyfriend Carlos McCloud, and their rescue cat, Harry.

Laura is also the new owner of a tiny but significant cottage the couple intends to renovate in the mountain village of Deia. One day it'll be a cosy weekend bolt-hole ... after their other dream project has come to fruition.

They've also made plans to turn an abandoned former restaurant into Mallorca's first cat cafe, to raise much-needed funds for the adjacent Refugio Marylou - their American friend's sanctuary for homeless cats and kittens.

But when a bombshell from Carlos's past takes him away from home and threatens their future together, Laura must put aside her heartbreak to make this passion project happen. Can she overcome the emotional and practical difficulties involved? And will her heart ever mend?

The Mallorca Cat Cafe is the sequel to Daughter of Deia but can also be read as a standalone novel.
