Elena esta a cargo de su abuela Manuela, que sufre de alzheimer. Como acto de amor hacia ella, decide aprender a tocar el piano y reproducir una melodia que le recuerda a la relacion que tenian antes de que enfermara. Al poco de iniciar las clases, encuentra dentro del piano de la casa familiar unas cartas sin abrir de hace mas de cincuenta anos. Este descubrimiento la llevara a tratar de averiguar quien las ha escrito y por que han estado ocultas tanto tiempo. Con la ayuda de Matias, su profesor de piano, Elena les abrira la puerta a secretos familiares escondidos hasta ahora.

Elena is caring for her grandmother Manuela, who has Alzheimer's. As an act of love, she decides to learn to play the piano and play a tune that reminds her grandmother of the relationship they used to have before she got ill. Soon after starting her lessons, Elena finds unopened letters from more than fifty years ago inside the piano, at the family home. This discovery will make her try to find out who wrote them and why they remained hidden for so long. With the help of Matias, her piano teacher, Elena will open a door to family secrets concealed until now.
