This is the revised third edition of History Taking and Physical Examination for Students. It deals with adult patients only. It shows the way to take a good history and carry out a physical examination. While revising the second edition, several new topics and abundant new material have been added in order to broaden the student’s/practitioner’s perspective of the scope and power of Clinical Medicine. It has been renamed History Taking: Physical Examination for Medical Students and Students of Medicine. It is meant to be carried on person, the relevant chapter of the book referred to frequently, and put into practice regularly.
