The Seven Hills of Christmas is the story of a little girl, Sophie, who belongs to a very poor family. She lives near a railroad below ‘The Seven Hills of Christmas’ and watches the trains go by, secretly wishing to one day travel in a train to distant places. One day she finds an enormous sack of toys lying at the foot of the seven hills. She decides to climb up the hills and return the toys to Father Christmas, who was believed to be living atop the hills. On each of the hills, she meets strange and magical creatures, before she finally meets Father Christmas on the seventh hill. Impressed by her honesty, Father Christmas invites Sophie to the Keepers’ Feast and takes her all over the world in a special train to distribute the Christmas toys to the children of the world.
