Jh. v.u.Z. in Athen und entrollt ein farbiges Sittenbild der Zeit. Robert Hamerling (1830-1889) war ein oesterreichischer Dichter und Schriftsteller. Hamerling zahlte zu seiner Zeit zu den meistgelesenen deutschsprachigen Autoren.
