The paper presents a holistic analysis of the essence of barrier pedagogy as a new direction of professional pedagogy, providing the formation of future teachers' readiness to anticipate and overcome pedagogical barriers. The author substantiates the binary essence of the concept of "pedagogical barrier" on the one hand, it is a complex pedagogical phenomenon that hinders, constrains, reduces the effectiveness and success of the educational process, on the other hand, it is a means that stimulates and increases the effectiveness of the subjects of the educational process by overcoming it.
