This research arises from the concern for the low positioning of the Universidad del Pacifico in the context of Colombian higher education, despite its responsibility in the formation of the population of the Pacific Region, which includes the departments of Cauca, Choco, Valle and Narino. It is proposed to identify how the institutional communication channels influence the articulation between the academic directives and the educational community, in terms of the implementation of the integral pedagogical model. The state of the art includes many sources that address Latin American and European experiences on pedagogical models and communicational strategies. At the theoretical level, key concepts such as internal communication, management, didactic strategies, competency-based assessment and institutional pedagogy are studied. Methodologically, a concurrent triangulation design is adopted, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches through structured surveys. The study highlights the need for communicational coherence to consolidate a transformative pedagogical model in higher education.
