The objective of this research is to elaborate a project of environmental educational improvement for the preparation of physical education teachers of the basic secondary school of Nuevitas. Detecting the insufficiencies in the low level of elaboration of environmental perceptions, not preparation of the physical education class, with environmental contents, generally developing this in a spontaneous way, according to which it is necessary that the actions to be developed are systematic, coherent, contextualized and with a participative base. The design, execution and evaluation of the project were carried out in four stages: identification of the project, feasibility study, design and detailed planning of the project and evaluation, using as methods and techniques of a theoretical nature: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical; of an empirical nature: analysis of documents, observation, survey, interview and statistical-mathematical.
