Each species has its own behavior during the drying process, which is why there is a need for a study capable of characterizing the behavior of commonly used forest species. The aim of this study was to evaluate the behavior of the wood of four forest species (Garapa, Jatoba, Macaranduba and Mandioqueira) in relation to the rate of kiln drying at 90 degreesC, based on intrinsic wood attributes such as density, initial humidity and anatomy.
