The theme of the text is the mediating practice of the teacher trainer on the Physical Education Degree course. I am interested in this research because I believe that being a teacher goes beyond being a simple transmitter of knowledge. It's not enough to know the subject, be proficient in technology or be a 'popular' teacher among students. Nor is it explicit in self-help or pedagogy books the most appropriate way to perform well in a class. The university plays a very important role in professional training, as it is here that the future teacher acquires the competences that will be fundamental for practising the profession. It is believed that pedagogical mediation, as didactic behaviour on the part of teachers, is fundamental to student learning. Understanding that each student learns in a different way and at a different pace is essential in education and, unfortunately, many professionals from a wide range of areas are unaware of these 'details'. The research carried out confronts a need for change in the current educational reality, which goes against the practice of many teachers in the country today.
