In this research, Guarani Spirituality is presented as one of the causes of the actions of the Guarani of the Jesuit Missions of the Argentine Littoral within the framework of the South American War of Independence between 1810 and 1830, which go beyond the political interests of the Spanish and Portuguese at that time. Spirituality should be understood as an element that transcends religiosity, which leads people to do what they do. The spirit is that impulse that every human being has, his way of being, which is bounded by the most diverse factors, giving a person and a whole society, a series of its own characteristics. Particularly, the warlike actions developed in the Argentine Littoral, the Guarani imprinted certain movements very characteristic of them. These will be analyzed in a series of documentations written by the Guarani, where the Guarani spirituality can be perceived. These documentations will be contrasted with texts written by Creole and Portuguese leaders, in which the lack of this Guarani spirituality can be seen.
