This book is a story of the history of the National Network of Residents of Cameroon (RNHC). Born in Yaounde at the heart of the double economic and political crisis which hit Cameroon hard at the end of the 90s, this movement of urban civil society quickly positioned itself, then developed and spread across the entire country, defying the impervious barriers of tribalism, corruption and systemic ethnicity. Having become a key player in governance and human rights, its members wanted to tell themselves and readers its story or rather, "their stories". Because in fact, the RNHC is a plural network.
