One side saw a rise in Hinduism, while the other had many people becoming Christians. He was unable to accept this at all. He saw that individuals were only drawn to other religions when they had nothing to rely on in their society, religion, and culture. Sadhu Ram Chand Murmu began preaching "Sari Dharam," the religion of the Santals, when he observed these characteristics in the Santhals. such as Sanatan Dharma.
