Research shows that technological innovations inserted contextually and aligned with the expectations of students and educators can bring important benefits to educational development. Thus, the use of free software as educational tools has proven to be a promising alternative to meet the needs of public education in Brazil. In this context, tools such as PASS Online, which allows predicting biological activities, can be used in the teaching of Organic Chemistry in high school, and can enhance didactic innovations, promoting more accessible, interactive and contextualized learning. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the in silico antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of the essential oil of Zingiber officinale through the PASS Online Software as a proposal for chemistry teaching.
