This book analysed in the subsequent chapters the identification of adverse weather situations and the prediction of rain well in advance of time. Demarcations of clear, cloudy, or rainy sky are clearly readable from a ratio of brightness temperature. The prediction of rain by studying the change in brightness temperature value from at least two hours before rain is made possible. This time it was refined by the use of machine learning technique. This precursor of rain will be helpful in the context of adjusting the communication system in a proper less loss way. Another attempt was made to find change of rain structure if the consideration of convective and stratiform rain is taken in view. After rain lingering of attenuation due to the presence of water vapor was observed in the two tropical locations situated on the global diameter at 180 degree apart. The results obtained so far are very much interesting to study the propagation of the microwave signal in the earth space path in adverse weather conditions.
