The investigation entitled, "Effect of INM on finger millet- chickpea cropping sequence in the hilly area of South Gujarat" was conducted during the kharif and rabi seasons of 2020-21 and 2021-22 at Rajendrapur Farm, HMRS, NAU, Waghai. The treatment consisted of nutrient management viz., T1:100% RDF + Azospirillum + PSB (2 lit/ha root dipping at TP), T2:100% RDF + NPK bioconsortium (2 lit/ha root dipping at TP), T3:100% RDF + Banana pseudostem sap 1% at tillering and panicle initiation stage, T4:75% RDF + Azospirillum + PSB (2 lit/ha root dipping at TP), T5:75% RDF + NPK bioconsortium (2 lit/ha root dipping at TP), T6:75% RDF + Banana pseudostem sap 1% at tillering and panicle initiation stage, T7:50% RDF + Azospirillum+ PSB (2 lit/ha root dipping at TP), T8:50% RDF + NPK bioconsortium (2 lit/ha root dipping at TP), T9:50% RDF + Banana pseudostem sap 1% at tillering and panicle initiation stage, to finger millet in kharif season replicated 4 times in RBD. During rabi season each main plot treatment was split into two sub plot treatments with 2 levels of fertilizers viz., F1-100 % and F2- 50 % RDF to chickpea resulting in18 treatment combinations replicated four time times in SPD.
