This publication is the result of audience research carried out in September 2015 at the Panteao da Patria museum, located in Praca dos Tres Poderes, in Brasilia, Federal District. The aim of this study was to analyse the public's relationship with the space and whether or not visitors, at the end of the exhibition, felt identified with the discourse proposed by the museum. Firstly, data was collected about the museum and its collection in order to gain a deeper understanding of what motivated its creation and what discourse it wants to convey to visitors. Questionnaires were then administered to find out how the spontaneous public viewed the museum.
