Law 3.686 of December 8, 2015 defines the new procedures for environmental licensing in the state of Rondonia, with the State Secretariat for Environmental Development of Rondonia - SEDAM - as the body that oversees and enforces this law. In this article, we outline the procedures that must be adopted when applying for environmental regularization in a broad sense, i.e. the documents and forms required for most activities and undertakings, as well as a brief presentation of the environmental studies often requested in environmental licensing procedures. The intention is not to exhaust the subject, but to open up new discussions that bring solutions to technicians and entrepreneurs and the community in general, in order to provide mechanisms that facilitate knowledge of the procedures and requirements needed in environmental licensing, seeking to maintain environmental quality in all its aspects.
