Using it as a tool for identifying, analyzing and, above all, making inferences about a particular focus can result in valid and concrete conclusions. This practical application often requires minimal costs and short execution times. In this way, the purpose of this work was to demonstrate the results that can be obtained by studying the characteristics of a watershed and how these can be applied to obtain conclusions about environmental problems. The study carried out consisted of identifying environmental degradation in a Conservation Unit in the form of a Municipal Ecological Park by studying the surrounding region, which comprises a sub-watershed and a micro-watershed. The environmental degradation focused on was the impact on springs and a gully in the area of the Municipal Park in the municipality of Goioere, Parana.
