Sagittal dysplasia is the most common skeletal malocclusion seen routinely in orthodontic patients. In cephalometric analysis, the anteroposterior relationship of the maxilla to the mandible is an important diagnostic criterion. ANB angle is the most commonly used measurement and statistically validated in evaluating the sagittal jaw discrepancy but there liability of ANB angle was always been questioned. YEN and BETA angle also shows the severity and the type of skeletal dysplasia in the anterio-posterior direction. YEN and BETA are very rarely affected by growth and rotation of mandible. Hence, this retrospective research study was undertaken aiming to evaluate the skeletal changes using different cephalometric parameters in skeletal class II division 1 malocclusion with the extraction of premolars and to examine the correlation between them using these cephalometric parameters.
