This is a face-to-face communication of a job interview in a natural situation that takes place in the professor's office in Al Kafaat in March 2012. The participants in the interaction are Laura Sayah and the professor who will be referred to as LAU and PRO respectively. The goals and interests of the two interactants involved are clearly different. This difference gives rise to a dissymmetry of interactional roles, an inequality between the interactants and institutes a relationship of dominance between them. The mission of one of the two interactants is to obtain information from the other by asking questions, whose task is to answer as precisely as possible. The relationship between the interactants is a professional one that falls into the dominant-dominated category. They maintain a social distance between them. The duration of the interview is 6 minutes 40 seconds. The corpus obtained from video recordings is carefully transcribed with the smallest details to reproduce the oral exchange as faithfully as possible.
