Dieses Buch begann mit der Forschung uber die Besteuerung des Kraftstoffverbrauchs in Uberlandia - MG und die Anwendbarkeit des Gesetzes 12.741/2012. Das Problem der Untersuchung bestand also darin, die Anwendbarkeit des Gesetzes zur steuerlichen Transparenz beim Kraftstoffverbrauch in einer Fallstudie nachzuweisen. Die gefundenen Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass die meisten Betriebe das Gesetz 12.741/2012 nicht korrekt anwenden und eine falsche Steuerbelastung in Bezug auf die angegebene Quelle angeben. Es wird der Schluss gezogen, dass die Anwendbarkeit des Gesetzes nicht effizient und effektiv ist, weil die Information des Verbrauchers verzerrt ist.
