Senior Adult Education

In the last decades, the Education of Older Adults has been positioned as a possible and healthy option, due to the contributions of different academic referents in the world. These contributions come from regulations that support the need to promote cognitive stimulation and active aging in Older Adults. There are also contributions from Philosophy, Psychology of Learning, Human Rights Organizations. Activities to be carried out by Older Adults are offered in different areas. This option is also offered by Universities. The academic field has opened its doors to this age group, generating contributions to the field of teaching and research.
