Se experimento con tres cepas de Rubulavirus porcino en ratones CD-1 y BALB/c con el objetivo de evaluar la virulencia, determinar la susceptibilidad de ratones de lineas geneticamente estandarizadas frente a la infeccion experimental con el Rubulavirus porcino, determinar la dosis letal 50% de las cepas de Rubulavirus porcino en el modelo murino, analizar los cambios histologicos producidos por el Rubulavirus porcino en el modelo murino, cuantificar la carga viral (virus infeccioso y copias de ARN viral) del Rubulavirus porcino en diferentes organos de los ratones inoculados, y titular la respuesta inmune humoral generada contra el Rubulavirus porcino en ratones convalecientes.
