The Atonement

Victor Reed, a very successful lawyer, is at the peak of his career after a great success against his great rival Evan Kane in a problematic case. However, he suddenly finds himself in a reality he could not have imagined, even in his worst nightmare. After an unexpected visit to the hospital, he learns that he is seriously ill and has a few months left to live. Before he can realize what is happening to him, two men meet him and give him a divine gift with which he can influence the lives of those around him by giving them "life's time" from the years he would have lived if he did not have this incurable disease.

He realizes that the disease he has developed is divine judgment for the harm he has done to innocent people, exonerating the perpetrators.

His perception of life drastically changes, and he meets people who inspire him to perform altruistic acts, trying to make up for his mistakes, which have led many people to misery.

But is atonement enough to grant him grace from God? For that to happen, someone must decide that Victor is worth saving. Will the people he has hurt in the courtrooms be able to forgive him?

Faced with his shameful past, Victor realizes that his fate is approaching. After a social event, he suddenly feels unwell and ends up in the hospital, where he meets a young patient, Nicole White, on whom he uses his charisma once more...
