Its history dates back to the regiment in 1683, since the king Peter A. began to gather around him in the suburban village of Transfiguration their peers for amusing games. Author Pavel Osipovich Bobrowski (1823-1905 gg.) - A military educator and a lawyer, an expert on the history of the Russian army. Scientific military-historical heritage Bobrowski extensive and multifaceted. Working on the book, Bobrowski studied and systematized regimental documents: case file and regimental orders of the regiment. Based on the information they have been prepared in two volumes of the book with two volumes of applications that complement the text. The publication was accompanied by a portrait in black and white and in color, as well as plans, maps, copies of letters of Peter I to his mother - Queen Natalia.
