Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N2: Essential Grammar Patterns
This resource is a combined textbook and workbook, allowing you to effectively build your language abilities from the foundation up while also gaining the test-taking ability needed to pass your exam.
In addition to being used as part of direct class instruction, it can also be used as a part of other kinds of long- and short-term study plans, whether in the form of self-study or homework.
This book is broadly made up of four parts. In part 1, Foundation, you will increase your overall grammar abilities so that you are better able to complete grammar questions. This will be done through review and strengthening of the primary areas of postpositional words, adverbs, conjunctions, and honorifics.
Part 2, Test Preparation, thoroughly analyzes Question 7, Question 8, and Question 9. You will develop your test-taking abilities through repeated practice that begins by categorizing questions into patterns and conducting detailed analysis on them, then understanding the most important points in order to answer correctly.
In Part 3, Practice Test, you can see what you've learned overall and find points of improvement through a test of your abilities. The additional "Words that Appear on Tests" appendix can be used as a pre-test check to once more go over vocabulary that often appears in grammar questions.
