Der Begriff der Ehre weckt widerspruchliche Assoziationen. Auf der einen Seite stehen Bilder von oeffentlichen Ehrungen, ehrenwerten Damen und Herren und herausragenden Persoenlichkeiten, auf der anderen solche von Ehrenmoerdern und unterdruckte Frauen. Mit der Ehre sind Hoch- und Geringschatzung zugleich verbunden, je nachdem, um welche Personengruppe es sich handelt. Der Autor geht in dieser Arbeit der Frage nach, wie es zu diesem Widerspruch kommt und macht praktische Vorschlage, wie das Thema Ehre im Ethikunterricht behandelt werden koennte.
