Uber Schuchternheit: Tiefenpsychologische und anthropologische Aspekte

Text in German. Shyness is a term from the context of everyday human knowledge and is difficult to classify scientifically. According to the American social psychologist Zimbardo, someone is shy when they think they are. The focus of this book is on questions about the inner soul dynamics of shyness and its anchoring in being human itself. A double face of shyness becomes clear: On the one hand, it stands for personal imperfection and inhibition in life; on the other hand, it can be an incentive for personal development and the realization of one’s own value experience be in word and deed. This is illustrated by many examples from literature and biography.
