Although there has been a shift towards Robert Walser’s prose in the Polish-speaking world since the 1970s, its reception there is still in its infancy: there is a lack of interpretative evidence of concrete reading experiences, comparative and poetological studies in which the entire idiosyncrasy of Walser’s expression is lacking And a comparison with aesthetically related works. This volume is dedicated to this desideratum, which was created in the context of the Universities of Poznan and Opole and, in its sum, is the result of years of reflection on the Swiss writer.
