Raumstrukturen Und Raumausstattung Auf Burgen in Mittelalter Und Fruher Neuzeit

English summary: The goal of this publication is to discuss, from an interdisciplinary perspective, how fortresses and castles, as constructed environments of the medieval and early modern elites, validated claims over socio-cultural concepts and behavioral practices. The studies in this work illuminate in various ways the tensions between materialized ideology, which manifested itself in building concepts, the conceptual attribution of spatial structures in graphic and literary works of art, and the written and archeological clues of how daily life was lived within these structures. At the center of the study is the perspective of the agents who acted, and interacted with other people, within these constructed spaces. Using the example of the aristocracy, this work demonstrates how buildings and dwellings functioned as a central media of social identity in historic societies. German description: Ziel der vorliegenden Publikation ist es, aus interdisziplinarer Perspektive zu diskutieren, wie Burgen und Schlosser als gebaute Umwelten mittelalterlicher und fruhneuzeitlicher Eliten Aussagen uber soziokulturelle Konzepte und Lebenspraktiken erlauben. Die vorliegenden Beitrage beleuchten in vielfaltiger Weise das Spannungsfeld zwischen materialisierter Ideologie, die sich im Baukonzept manifestiert, konzeptioneller Zuschreibung von Raumstrukturen in bildlichen und literarischen Kunstwerken und den schriftlichen wie auch archaologischen Spuren von Lebensvollzug in gebauten Strukturen. Im Mittelpunkt steht jedoch die Akteurperspektive des im Raum handelnden und mit diesem interagierenden Menschen, der diese Sichtweisen wieder zusammen fuhrt: Am Beispiel des Adels wird hier gezeigt, wie Bauen und Wohnen als zentrale Medien sozialer Identitat in historischen Gesellschaften fungierten.
