Around eighty works show how Tokyo-born Henrik Eiben moves between drawing, painting and assemblage in his practice. With seeming effortlessness, he juggles colours, forms and materials - letting them collide, generating explosions, implosions or finely calibrated equilibria. He seeks out challenges through the deliberate choice of new forms or materials. By bringing a human element into the art, he achieves a beauty inherent in the everyday and in the imperfect.
