A 1962 newspaper photograph of a plane crash inspired Andy Warhol to produce a series of images dealing with disaster, catastrophe and death. In his grainy silk screens - some brightly coloured, others in black and silver - both the content and form refer to the reportage aesthetics, lust for sensation and morass of images prevalent in our society.
