Improvisation Hypermedia and the Arts since 1945

In presenting their definition of improvisation, the authors consider developments in improvisation in the arts since 1945 by emphasizing process and techniques and by featurings artists from Grotowski and Laurie Anderson to Goldsworthy. Designed to be analytical and theoretical, this work should also be relevant to practitioners and their audience.
