This book contains a comparison between the accuracy of each of IRI- 2012 and IRI- 2001 models for predicting F2- layer critical frequencies(foF2) and the accuracy of them for predicting total electron content(TEC) at mid- latitude Roquetes station(Spain) during high solar activity. In general, it is found that the correlation coefficient values between the observed hourly foF2 and those using both of IRI- 2012 and IRI- 2001 models are equal for all months of 2013. So, both models approximately, give the same accuracy and can be used for predicting foF2 over Iraq (since Roquetes station lies at a latitude near to the latitude of Iraq). Also, it is found that both models are more accurate in predicting foF2 than TEC.
