The present research project was done on contraceptive using rats as experimental model. The study was for six month by oral intubation of contraceptive LD each S.C tablet contain: Levonorgestrel 0.15 mg and Ethinyl Estradiol 0.03 mg. The study was done on tow groups of eight male and eight female rats. First group as untreated control and the second group treated. For the first three months treated group were given by oral gavage one tablet dissolved in water to every treated rats and in the last three months, the dose was increase to tablet for every animals. Histopathological changes were suppression of spermatogenisis in testis in males and atrophy of ovaries in female, furthermore there were histopathological changes in liver, kidney, heart, lung, skeletal muscle, skin, epidedymus and prostate.
