Frederik Elwert thematisiert den Zusammenhang von Migration, Religion und Integration am Beispiel einer wenig beachteten Fallgruppe: russlanddeutschen Aussiedlern in freikirchlichen Gemeinden. Als deutsche Staatsangehoerige und evangelische Christen entsprechen sie nicht den gangigen Kategorien der Migrationsforschung und erlauben gerade daher neue Einblicke in die Bedeutung von Religion fur Integrationsprozesse. Der Autor diskutiert dabei sowohl die theoretischen Konzepte der Integrationsforschung als auch empirische Befunde eigener biografischer Forschung mit jungen evangelikalen Aussiedlern.
