Das Projekt NOESIS (Niederoesterreichisches Schulmodell im Schulversuch) dient zur Evaluierung des seit dem Schuljahr 2009/2010 bestehenden Schultyps Neue Niederoesterreichische Mittelschule. In der Annahme, dass Erwartungen Schulwahlentscheidungen beeinflussen (Eccles 2007), wurde im Rahmen dieses Projekts erhoben, welche Erwartungen Eltern in Niederoesterreich an die weiterfuhrenden Schulformen der Sekundarstufe I haben.
